Happy New year!

Closing Out 2006....

It's been quite a year for ekoostik hookah. A long break started us off ending with a trip to Negril, Jamaica and John Mullins' return to the band. We have a few more shows this year...on December 15th, join us at the historic Southgate House in Newport, Kentucky, just south of Cincinnati. The next night we move on to the grand Bijou Theater in Toledo, Ohio. Our New Year's Run begins in Cleveland at the Sachsenheim Hall with The Sultans of Bing and The Groove Prophets. On the big night, we are once again at Columbus' Lifestyles Community Pavilion. Kicking things off that night is Mike Perkins and friends. We hope to see you out there as we bring in 2007!

It's been a few years since we released a studio cd. In January the latest will be out: Under Full Sail: It All Comes Together.

The double disc set, recorded at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta, will contain one disc of studio tracks and one disc from the live sessions. Collectively the 2 disc set will contain every song from Under Full Sail (1991) plus several “new” songs both live and in the studio. Additionally, there will be a video montage of the weekend in Atlanta which can be viewed by placing one of the CD’s into a computer.
