NEWS
BREAK!!! Summer Ripplefest Weather Forecast!
Looking like it is going to shape up to be
a great weekend! REMEMBER, just because it
may be raining at your house doesn't mean
it's going to be raining at our fest. Last
year we had people stay at home in Dayton
and Cincinnati because it was pouring there,
when in reality we had sunny skies and 75
degree temperatures! Here is your forecast!

June 16th: Partly sunny. Winds from the N
at 14 mph. High: 72° F
Friday

the NE at 11 mph. High: 71° F

Kidz
Jam
(Kids 12 and under are free to attend
Summer Ripplefest!)
Kidz
Jam is fresh off the road from Bonnaroo
where it once again provided activities and
entertainment for hundreds of children! What
started at our first Ripplefest in 2003 as
a way to give kids something to do has grown
into a nationally recognized nonprofit organization!
Kidz
Jam will be operating during the daylight
hours at Ripplefest and will be located just
to the right of the Ripplefest Barn (Main
Stage). We are family friendly and encourage
you to bring your children to our festival
to share in the music, spirit and great outdoors
that we have to offer!

LBS!!! We intend to treat you fairly!
Camping:
CAMP
JAM HAS EXPANDED! We now have almost twice
as much primitive camping area plus another
beautiful pond to fish. Some great grassy
area to set up your camp by the water- a place
to watch the sun go down or maybe watch the
sun come up over the ripples in the pond.
There are some really good spots for camping
in the newly acquired 22 acres adjoining our
present campground. We are growing! Come grow
with us! Come and experience Summer Ripplefest
2005.
Camp Jam
The
area adjacent to the Ripplefest venue, comprising
approximately 40 acres, is known as Camp Jam.
Now when we say adjacent, this means a very
short walk from the concert area to the camping
area. This is a primitive campground for our
festival attendees and is included in the
price of admission to Ripplefest. The acreage
includes a beautiful, well-stocked pond for
fishing, where catch and release is the rule.
RV's and Campers
There are no RV sites except in the designated
RV area. These spaces are limited and are
available only with prior arrangements being
made with the campground administrator at
419-358-3490 (ask for Hawk). This area is
available to RV's, VW buses, pickup campers
and a limited number of camping-type vans.
Please note that this area is also primitive
with no hookups for RV's at this time. We
do not allow camping with your vehicle anywhere
else inside Camp Jam to ensure the safety
of our tent campers. Any RV overflow will
be camped outside the grounds near the parking
lot. Camping in a designated RV space is $25
in addition to paid admission to the festival.

* No underage drinking
* No weapons
* No illegal vending
* No swimming in the ponds - they are for
fishing only
* No alcohol can be brought from the camping
area into the music venue
(See explanation below)
Alcohol Policy:
Please
note that due to the laws concerning alcohol
sales, we cannot allow our festival patrons
to bring alcohol from the camping area into
our music venue area. This is because the
laws force us to designate an area where we
will be selling alcohol and do not allow folks
to bring beer that was purchased elsewhere
into this area. By the same token, alcohol
being consumed may not be carried out of the
concert area. You may only transport unopened
containers of alcohol (carry out) back to
your campsite. Think of it this way, you can't
go into a bar with a beer in your hand, as
well as you can't leave a bar with a beer
in your hand by law.
