April 2014 Adventure in JAMmaica
After a long hiatus ekoostik hookah, in conjunction with Island Gigs, is announcing its return to the beautiful island of Jamaica. Come and enjoy all that this island paradise has to offer while helping us celebrate Buckley’s birthday. Play in the sea, jump off the cliffs, explore the jungle, climb the waterfalls, and bask in the sun with the sounds of reggae music around you all day long. Then, hang with your friends, old and new, and jam with ekoostik hookah, Rumpke Mountain Boys, and Krisb on the beautiful sandy beach. With 2 full shows and an acoustic/unplugged jam session, this is going to be an incredible time! We’re looking forward to sharing this experience with you. Visit JAMmaica.com for info and to book your trip!
Our newest CD, brij, is on sale now at shows and online!
The disk containing 10 songs was recorded in March of 2010. Eric Lanese writes, "We were in the middle of recording when John's (Mullins) path diverged from ours. Obviously this threw quite a curve into where the project was headed. We finished the tracking as a new band. Thanks to Sarge and Phil for pushing to get this into the next phase, and to Sarge for spending many hours in the studio mixing and editing."
