Dear Friends, Whether you've been to one Hookahville or 20 of them, we're hoping you'll join us over Memorial Day weekend for the 10th anniversary of the festival's inception. An impressive roster of acts - all with Hookahville ties - has been assembled for the popular festival's 10th anniversary show. Opening the festival on Friday is Jen Durkin & The Bomb Squad. Durkin appeared at Hookahville Spring 2000 with her former band Deep Banana Blackout, and has since embarked on a solo career that earned The Bomb Squad "Best Unsigned Artist" recognition from The American Music Awards in 2003. Also appearing Friday are ekoostik hookah's long-time collaborators and friends Leftover Salmon. Salmon appeared at Hookahville Fall 1999, and recently appeared with hookah during the band's New Year's Eve run at PromoWest Pavilion in Columbus, OH. Saturday kicks off with an impressive group of artists representing the best of what bluegrass has to offer. The legendary Del McCoury Band, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and Mountain Heart will be on the road this summer as the "It Came From Kentucky" tour, and are visiting Frontier Ranch in a rare festival appearance. The bands are linked to Hookahville through Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, who performed a memorable set at Hookahville Fall 2002. The final line-up spot belongs to the talented Keller Williams, who is making his first Hookahville appearance since Fall 1997. The innovative Williams is the ideal artist to complete a roster heavy on acoustic instruments but diverse in presentation. And it wouldn't be Hookahville without two headlining shows by festival hosts ekoostik hookah. As the band prepares for the festival with a busy Spring Tour, we can only imagine what surprises might be in store. Just as it has for the last decade, Hookahville will include many of the features you've come to expect and enjoy: a family camping area, a wide selection of food and merchandise vendors and the return of the popular KidzJam area. We'll also continue the tradition of bringing new elements to Hookahville, so please check www.hookahville.com regularly for updates and new developments. Tickets for Hookahville are available now at www.hookahville.com for $65 plus services charges. To take advantage of our exceptional pre-sale offer, you must purchase tickets by May 9. After the 9th, tickets will be available through Ticketmaster and at the gate. We look forward to seeing you at Frontier Ranch Music Center, May 28 - 30, to help us celebrate 10 years of no hassles or bad attitudes.
