Dear Friends,

On behalf of ekoostik hookah, Acoustic Productions, Inc. and Frontier Ranch Music Center, I'd like to thank you all for another wonderful festival season. From Spring Hookahville to last weekend's closing show, it was you - the fans - that made each show a success.

We're already planning for a busy season in 2004. In addition to celebrating Hookahville's 10th anniversary, we hope to build on our tradition of bringing music's best acts to Frontier Ranch through a variety of new events and festivals.

We hope to see you at the upcoming Halloween, Thanksgiving and Holiday shows. In the meantime, be safe, stay warm and thanks again.

Sincerely,
Jeff Spencer, CEO
Acoustic Productions, Inc.

Dubba's Picks Live!

In conjunction with dubba.com, Schwa Mail is pleased to announce the return of the Dubba's Picks series. With the guidance of everyone's favorite Tape Archivist Greg Frahn, we'll be presenting a new hookah soundboard for download each month at ekoostik.com. The series re-starts with the seasonally appropriate 10/31/02 show from Promo West Pavilion in Columbus, OH. This one is worth it for the segue back in to Slipjig alone!

A special thank you goes out to Dubba for his tireless work in bringing ekoostik hookah's music to the masses. You can find info on October's show in this edition of Schwa Mail, and look for more special offers and releases at dubba.com in the coming weeks.

Hookah Gets Serious on SIRIUS

ekoostik hookah performed live before a national audience on Tuesday, 10/21 on SIRIUS Satellite Radio. The performance and interview were part of SIRIUS' "Sessions" series, which has previously featured acts including Sting, The Allman Brothers Band and Tony Bennett. Please visit www.sirius.com, Stream 100, for information on future broadcasts of the show.

Second Leg Kicking

The second leg of hookah's 2003 Fall Tour is in full swing. After a great opening weekend at Mr. Small's Theatre in Pittsburgh and Frontier Ranch, the band headed north for a run that included a free show benefiting the Greater Burlington (VT) Food Shelf at Higher Ground and a Halloween Booze Cruise with fellow Ohioans Guest from Penn's Landing in Philadelphia. The tour kicks into high gear with this week's Halloween run in Detroit and Columbus. Please visit the Tour Dates section on the right for details.
