Organ and Drums added to Saturday
Hookahville Line-up
An additional outstanding act has been added the already-impressive
Hookahville roster. Joe Russo is the current drummer for Robert Walter's
20th Congress and formerly of Fat Mama and others. Marco Benevento is
a Berklee graduate and keyboard whiz in the style of John Medeski. As
The Duo, they've supported Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, the 20th Congress,
Steve Kimock, Charlie Hunter, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Garage
a Trois, Dickey Betts, and DJ Logic. With a summer schedule that includes
the Adirondack Mountain Music Festival, JazzAspen, Telluride Jazz Celebration,
Berkfest and Hookahville, they're making a splash on the festival scene.
